Hello! My name is Melanie and I am based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. A majority of my career has been in university programs and recruiting at tech companies (more info in my LinkedIn profile), and I recently made the switch to a Chief of Staff role at a nonprofit.
I'd love to connect with folks to learn more about the foundational aspects of being a Chief of Staff (i.e. strategic communication, nonprofit funding, etc.). I hope I can help others with my experience in the tech industry, university recruiting space, and project management.
Fun fact: I enjoy learning new things, so over the past decade, I've picked up taiko, kickboxing, and tennis.

I definitely don't have the typical path to becoming a Chief of Staff. Through my journey of manifesting this for myself, I learned that you really do need to find a company you are passionate about working at and a principal you are passionate about working with.
